“No matter how many clients I have, I make sure to call each one personally every quarter. It’s a chance to not only update them on their portfolio, but also check on how they’re doing personally”

With a career spanning over two decades in the financial services industry, Tami Dove has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, innovation, and mentorship. Her journey began in the Saskatchewan and Alberta Credit Union System, where she honed her skills in member service and financial planning. This foundational experience set the stage for future roles, where she would continue to make significant contributions to the industry.
In Dove's tenure with the Government of Saskatchewan, she developed and launched retirement educational programs that empowered public employees to make informed financial decisions. This role ignited her passion for policy development and strategic planning, leading her to the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority (FCAA). Currently, as the director of member experience at the Co-operative Superannuation Society (CSS), Dove oversees one of the largest national multi-employer defined contribution pension plans – the CSS Pension Plan. She has successfully developed and implemented the CSS Member Experience Management program, which has transformed how the pension organization engages with members to empower them to meet their evolving needs. Dove’s dedication to education extends beyond that of her professional role, as she developed and facilitates programs for the Credit Union Institute of Canada (CUIC) and the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute (CPBI).
Dove is passionate about serving others, believing in the potential of others and striving to foster a workplace of safety, wellness, and empowerment. Her commitment to mentorship and guidance has been a cornerstone of her career, as she continually seeks to support and inspire her colleagues and industry peers.
Guided by the co-operative values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity, and solidarity, Dove aims to create a positive and inclusive environment for all. As she often says, “When we support each other, we all succeed. There is strength in numbers.”
