Chris Gory is the founder of Orchard Benefits, a boutique Canadian employee benefits firm focused on helping startups, technology companies, and growing organizations build better benefits programs. With more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of insurance and technology, he has built a career around challenging traditional approaches and finding better ways to serve employers, employees, and advisors.
Today, he combines deep employee benefits expertise with technology, automation and artificial intelligence to improve how benefits plans are managed, communicated, and delivered.
Gory is an active contributor to the Canadian benefits community and regularly shares his experience with fellow advisors through industry events and organizations including Benefits Alliance and the Canadian Group Insurance Brokers. He has spoken extensively about CRM technology, automation, and AI, helping advisors understand how emerging technologies can strengthen their businesses and client relationships.
His industry contributions have been recognized with the Benefits Alliance Shining Star Award and a Top Advisors Award from Benefits and Pensions Monitor. He has also contributed to industry research and has been featured in publications including The Globe and Mail, Benefits Canada, and Insurance Portal.
