Alessandra Casciato has built a well-rounded career in pension administration and education over the past five years at OMERS. She began in member experience as a member experience specialist, supporting members by addressing pension inquiries across multiple platforms. She then expanded her expertise through a secondment with the eligible service team, where she specialized in processing eligible service on member records and collaborated with employers to ensure accurate recognition on behalf of members.
For the past three years, Alessandra has been a part of the pension education and relationship management team, delivering education sessions to employers and working directly with members to deepen their understanding of the OMERS Pension Plan. Her role emphasizes both relationship management and education, strengthening compliance and employer partnerships, while also helping members make the most of their pension.
In addition to her hands-on experience, Alessandra has earned her Pension Plan Administration Certificates and is completing the Registered Retirement Consulting designation. She also contributes to high-profile projects, including event planning and execution, and proudly serves as an ambassador for OMERS.
